Alex playing with his new toy from Grammy. It does a lot of music stuff, lights up, and most importantly has a mirror! He loves it!

Christmas Eve at Granny's. Tim is about to read from the Bible.

Granny reciting "The night before Christmas". Julia was absolutely amazed that she could say it without looking at the book!

This was the night before Christmas Eve but I had to show how our Gingerbread house turned out. It was made with Willy Wonka candy, Matt's favorite! More than a few pieces were eaten before they made it on the house!
Julia went back to school today so I have a little more time to catch up on some blogs! It was very sad, though, she started crying as soon as we entered the building and was downright hysterical by the time we got to her class. I know that she will be okay but it is still a terrible feeling to leave your child anywhere so upset.
Christmas Eve was so much fun! We started out the day with brunch at Grammy's house. There were a lot of people there- Kevin, Anna, Tim, David, Alicia, Rayne and of course Grammy and Pa. She had absolutely delicious food, Bloody Marys and Mimosas, and Pa even made omlettes! After brunch we opened presents. The kids were adorable opening their presents and they all got some great stuff. It was a wonderful morning.
That evening, we went to Big Granny's to eat Christmas Eve dinner and do the traditional stuff there. Tim reads out of the Bible and Granny recites "The Night Before Christmas". Then there were more presents to open. It was a very fun evening and we headed home to prepare for the next day!
And forgive the poor quality of the pictures- either we had the camera on the wrong setting or something is wrong with it. All of the Christmas pictures turned out like that!
